The Klayr team is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of our Validator Support Program. This initiative, which was designed to foster a robust and decentralized network, has been a resounding success, and we are proud to share the results with our community. We are now closing submissions for the current program. In this blog, we will give a quick recap on what the program set out to do and what the results were.

Program Overview

The Validator Support Program was launched with several key goals:

  • Maximize Decentralization and Performance
Ensure the Klayr network remains decentralized, reliable, and high-performing.
  • Increase Validator Participation
Encourage a diverse group of validators to join and support the network.
  • Support Testnet and Mainnet Validators
Strengthen the testnet and transition successful validators to the mainnet.

You can read the full details of the program structure here.

Program Results

We are excited to report that the program has been running with a lot of interest for over a month. During that time, we received 19 applications. Out of those applications, 14 participants successfully completed the program and joined the active validator set at Klayr. Not only has this initiative has strengthened our ecosystem, but it has also demonstrated the commitment and capability of our community.

Looking Ahead

As we close submissions for the current program and reflect on a successful initiative that has significantly bolstered the Klayr network, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their dedication and contributions.

The Klayr team will now evaluate the program and consider launching an improved version in the future to support new validators. We welcome any feedback from our community to help us refine and enhance our initiatives, so join our community and share your thoughts.

Together, we can continue to build a stronger, more decentralized Klayr network.
