What you will do

  • Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Implement responsive user interface designs from concept to launch, ensuring the website is mobile-friendly. Develop front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Next.js / React) in accordance with the project’s requirements.
  • Bug Fixing and Improvement: Identify and correct problems uncovered during testing or customer feedback. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to ensure that the visual design intent is realized on the web. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
  • Stay Up-to-date with Industry Trends: Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices to stay current in front-end development.
  • Documentation: Document the code and functionalities to ensure maintainability and guide future developers.
  • Understand User Experience (UX): Gain a basic understanding of UX principles to help in making informed decisions about front-end design and development.

What we’re looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field in the Netherlands.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React and Next.js.
  • Proficiency in responsive and mobile-first web design principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • 50/50 split between office and remote work, to be decided together
  • 600 euro internship allowance for a 4-day workweek (36 hrs)
